From the photographer, Maria: As well as I know Jon, I know that he and Shannon are a perfect match for each other. They met at Union College in Nashville and bonded over their mutual love for music and the Lord. Her feisty personality and his uniquely hilarious sense of humor saw them through several years and many ups and downs as he moved to another state to pursue his future bride. Together at last, Jon and Shannon could not keep the joy off their faces as they became husband and wife.
The Musician's Hall of Fame was the perfect setting for a reception blanketed in twinkling lights, evergreen wreaths to celebrate the winter season, and candles that lit the entire hall in glowy yellow light. Crimson bridesmaid dresses and classic bowties tied the whole day together perfectly, and a sweet heartfelt ceremony with a shared communion in the middle was a reminder of the true purpose behind the wedding.
Shannon planned their wedding day around the perfect winter theme. Shawls for the bridesmaids kept them warm on a chilly day, and a bold pop of red on her lips perfectly matched her groom's rose boutonniere. The couple's love of music is what originally brought them together, so having their reception at the Musician's Hall of Fame brought their story full circle. Green and red hinted at the coming of Christmas while a sweet ceremony spoke to their love story and the hope of a future together.
