Caitlin and Buster’s story instantly gave us all the feels. At first glance at their heart-warming engagement session by Kelsey Leigh Photography, their love (and trendy attire!) is evident, however it’s what’s beneath the surface of each image that leaves our hearts smiling and have us cheering them on as they continue to conquer whatever life may throw their way. If you love sweet moments, great fashion, and a motivational love story then keep on scrolling!
Kelsey: This couple has been threw hell and high water. They lived in Germantown and their apartment was destroyed with the tornado that came through Nashville in March 2020. They saw their mattress fly out of the window during the tornado as they hovered in their bathroom praying for their lives to be spared. Weeks after the damage when they were allowed back in to remove items from their destroyed apartment, Buster got down on one knee, in their damaged apartment, and popped the question. She cried “YES” and now they are claiming victory over their life together (defeating death in the tornado), claiming victory over their engagement, and victory over their trauma and fears with the tornado. I think they nailed it and their story is so motivational!
