Flower Farm Styled Shoot by Billie-Shaye Style

After learning that Starry Fields Farm was starting to host small weddings, Billie-Shaye Style didn’t waste a minute dreaming up this magical flower farm styled shoot! The greenhouse design was inspired by all things floral and brought together a local team of creatives for an enchanting aesthetic. From the twinkling lights and floral chandelier to the desserts, the gown from Lavender Park Bridal, and the couple celebrating 10 years together, prepare yourself to fall in love!

Tell us about the shoot vision.

Billie-Shaye: When I first learned of Starry Field Farm going to start hosting smaller, intimate weddings I knew immediately that I wanted to do a styled shoot there. My friends, Sunni & Kelly Gregory were celebrating their 10 year anniversary around the same time I learned of the shoot so I approached Jessica with Starry Fields about doing the shoot. My goal was to use as many local vendors as we possibly could to promote a local team.

What was the theme and what inspired it?

Billie-Shaye: Florals and my friends celebrating their 10 year anniversary. The idea of allowing a team of incredibly talented local vendors to come together after being quarantined for months and create something beautiful for everyone’s creative soul!

What details were used to create the theme?

Billie-Shaye: Florals, greenhouse, multi-colors from the flower farm, and a vintage camper!

Can you share any special moments or highlights of the day?

Billie-Shaye: My favorite moment in the day was like a true wedding we had a “first” dance, “Blessings” by Florida Georgia Line. I’m pretty sure you could hear a pin drop while they were dancing. Not a single vendor could take their eyes off of them while dancing under the twinkling lights of the greenhouse. Knowing their story of how far they have come in the 10 years together, it truly was a blessing to witness their love!

Were there any special requests or unique challenges that you had to work together to overcome?

Billie-Shaye: Haha, my fear of heights. To hang the lights in the trees and things I had to climb a 12ft ladder and wrap them around a tree trunk. I never feared it would rain but was afraid it would be super hot. Thankfully we had an incredible day that wasn’t hot or humid. And we were able to keep the whole shoot a secret from Sunni until the week before. I only told her then so she could get a manicure and because I needed dress sizes for the bridal shop.

Whimsically wonderful! Huge thank you to Billie-Shaye Style for sharing this stunning flower farm styled shoot with us!
