The love you’re about to witness from Jessie and Chadd’s wedding is abundant! Their marriage was not only between them, but about each of their kids making it all that much more special. They chose to have a family focused wedding with their children at the forefront of the occasion. With approximately 40 guests in attendance, they exchanged vows which included their four little ones, had Teddy Bear Mobile in attendance, and got to bounce around the soft play zone thanks to Tots Aloud. It was the perfect celebration of love in all aspects before Jessie and Chadd hopped on a plane and headed to Greece, just the two of them, to have an intimate celebration. Everything about this day and this family is beautiful — the proof being these images from Studio Papillon and Phosart Photography.

Tell us about your engagement!
Jessie: My best friend asked me to marry him in a cabin out near Knoxville. Then we came home and the next day he borrowed my ring back and proposed again with all four of our kids during a photo shoot so they would feel special and included.
What was the vision for your wedding?
Jessie: This was both of our second wedding and we wanted to show our children that they are THE most important things in our entire world. So we started with this ceremony. The kids wrote our vows and every second was about making them realize they were the center of all our love. Then we flew to Santorini, Greece and officially got married the two of us with just a photographer. It turned out perfect because the first half was about making the kids feel safe and included. The second half was about our romantic love.
What was your theme and what inspired it?
Jessie: A neutral colored carnival for the kids.
What details were used to create your theme?
Jessie: We had two bounce houses, a mobile teddy bear company, snow cone truck, ball pit!
Where did you splurge? Where did you save/DIY?
Jessie: We splurged on the entertainment for the kids. We saved money by borrowing tables from the firehall (my husband is a firefighter) and using a friends property!
What words of advice do you have for couples in the midst of their planning?
Jessie: Make it about love. There is nothing more important.
Can you share any special moments or highlights from your wedding day?
Jessie: Best moments were watching the kids scream and play in delight. Plus an impromptu dance just the two of us in the glow of his truck lights after everything was said and done.
Is there anything else you’d like to share about your wedding?
Jessie: I’m so grateful for all the love that we felt with our closest family and friends. Our short and sweet entire ceremony – vows by the kids. (Ages 3,4,5,6) . Can you catch the movie reference? Marriage. Marriage is what brings us together today. Marriage, that blessed arrangement. That dream within a dream. For love, true love, will follow you forever. So treasure your love. As we begin, Jessie and Chadd have asked me to start with a prayer so if you’ll bow your heads with us. (Prayer) Hallie, Nolie, Ronan, and Gia are the most important thing in both Jessie and Chadd’s life. So while they will be sharing the formal vows that they wrote to each other in Greece, today they want to stand before God, their closest family, and intimate friends to recite the vows that all four kids wrote for them to promise. Chadd and Jessie. Do you vow to always be kind and nice. To always share your cake with each other. To always smoochy kiss. To never fight over backpacks or where to sit. To never shove or kick each other. To always have sleepovers and read books at bedtime. That Chadd will use his big muscles to protect Jessie. To go to Monster Jam. To always be safe, have fun, and to always be there for each other. And most of all, to always love each other. I do – give ring I do – give ring Then I now pronounce you man and wife! You may kiss your bride!
Love is truly all you need! Huge thank you to Jessie and Chadd for sharing their family focused wedding with kids from Tots Aloud. Wishing you all the happiest days!!
