Melanie: Bella Bridesmaids has been in the Nashville bridal market for nearly 15 years! We recently moved to a new location, near the intersection of Old Hickory Blvd and I-65. This move opens us up for convenient access from all areas of Nashville. We also have more parking, which we love! We are an independently owned franchise, part of a network of 60 Bella stores nationwide, most of which are female owned and operated.

Melanie: The Bella experience! We’re the best combination of an in person experience combined with online convenience. During an in person appointment, a bride gets the personal attention of a trained stylist. It’s so helpful to see dresses in person…touch the fabric, see the colors, try things on. It’s a fun and memorable experience for a bride and her bridesmaids. From there, we switch to an online platform to finish the process. A bride will be set up with her own virtual showroom. This also serves as the ordering portal. In person customer service partnered with online shopping–the best of both worlds! It’s also a bonus to be able to see styles from so many designers all in one place.

We currently work with Amsale, Adrianna Papell Platinum, Jenny Yoo, Marchesa Notte, LulaKate, Dessy, Alfred Sung, After Six, Lovely Bridesmaids, Social, Cynthia & Sahar, Hayley Paige Occasions, Watters, Wtoo, Bari Jay, Christina Wu celebration, Bill Levkoff ,#levkoff, and Nouvelle. We have a beautiful array of fabrics, prints and textures. These dresses are not your typical “wish-I-didn’t-have-to-wear-this” dresses. We’ve got some gorgeous fashion forward styles for our bridesmaids! We are dedicated to carrying an extensive collection of designer dresses that enhance every wedding, at every budget, and can be worn by all women! Our styles are made to order, which allows us to offer sizes from 00 to 30W, colors called Morning Mist and Ramble on Rose, hems with extra length added, and fabrics that are flowy or form fitting.

Walk us through the process of what it’s like for your bridesmaids to order their dresses through Bella Bridesmaids?
Melanie: Easy-peasy! Book an appointment online at bellabridesmaids.com/nashville, or by calling us. To prepare for the appointment, brides can preview our dresses on our website, bellabridesmaids.com. During that appointment, we’ll get to know each other a little to help us create your vision for your bridesmaids. Then the fun part: trying on! (Who doesn’t enjoy twirling and posing in a velvet or satin gown?) We also have the option of private appointments, if a bride wants to come in with her entire wedding party. The virtual showroom is created in the appointment. This proprietary software was developed to be an extension of the in person experience. When the bridesmaids are invited, it’s a tool for everyone to share favorites, get information, and eventually order. Since Bella Bridesmaids is a network of 55+ stores, bridesmaids can visit their local Bella for a complementary fitting. They’ll try on, get measurements, and have the help of a stylist to choose sizing. When the entire party’s orders have been placed, we submit the order with the designer(s) and wait for the dresses to arrive. After the big day, we’ll reach out to see just how beautiful everything turned out!
How do alterations and sizing work at Bella Bridesmaids?
Melanie: Complementary fittings are so valuable! Each designer has a different size chart, and fit also varies based on fabrics. During the fitting, a stylist will take the bridesmaid’s measurements and compare them to the designer’s size chart. Some fabrics are stretchy, and bridesmaids are comfortable sizing down. Other more structured fabrics might mean ordering to allow a little extra room for eating, drinking and dancing. With formal gowns, some alterations can be expected. Although we don’t do alterations in house, we have recommendations for tailors and seamstresses in the area who are familiar with our dresses.
