Tell us about the shoot vision.
Jacob: When The Event Planner and I were visualizing the styled shoot, we knew we wanted to do something modern, light, airy, and non-traditional. We wanted to use a dress that was not white, but still fit the vibe of a wedding. With the florals and linens, we wanted something fun, modern, and again, non-traditional. I believe every vendor came together to execute this vision perfectly!
What was the theme and what inspired it?
Jacob: Non-traditional (for lack of a better word), modern, fun, bright, colorful
What details were used to create the theme?
Jacob: We wanted a colorful color palette with yellows, oranges, and blues. New Mood Floral executed this beautifully. For rentals, Please Be seated had these beautiful chargers and plates, and couples with the gold dinner ware, AMAZING!
Can you share any special moments or highlights of the day?
Jacob: We had originally planned the styled shoot for [another venue], but they surprised us with a $2,000 fee about 2 days before, and that was not in budget. I contacted Kimberly at Riverwood and she immediately said yes, and didn’t charge us anything. She was the sweetest to work with and getting to meet her day of was special to me. I thanked her heavily for allowing us to do this and I think it ended up being even better for our vibe than [the other venue].
Were there any special requests or unique challenges that you had to work together to overcome?
Jacob: The HEAT. Oh my goodness, it was HOT and HUMID.
