Part 2: A Modern 21c Museum Hotel Styled Shoot by Nashville Bride Guide, Abigail Volkmann and Fanciful Ink | Nashville Styled Shoot

I’m back again with Part 2 of the modern styled shoot at the 21c Museum Hotel! If you haven’t had a chance to see Part 1 yet, be sure to check it out! During this part of the shoot, we moved downstairs where there were more hallway galleries, the gift shop and the restaurant Gray & Dudley. Abigail Volkmann shot more portraits of the couple and ended with the grand table scape in the restaurant – perfect for a stylish friends and family only reception. Plus, the talented Anne Claire Patterson created a short video of the shoot that really exudes the modern minimalistic style we were going for! Please be sure to scroll all the way down and watch the short clip – you won’t want to miss it!

Every angle of the 21c Hotel along with the restaurant Gray & Dudley was so interesting to look at. The quirky modern art on the walls juxtaposed with the sleek and simplistic bones of the hotel were a sight to see. Introducing our models Olivia and Jerry into this mix was like a dream! The bright 21c shop almost gave off a modern library feel while the dim restaurant gave a sultry vibe to our styled story. Liberty Party Rental‘s smoke goblets alongside marble and green centerpieces paired perfectly with the black modern restaurant chairs. Laurie of Fanciful Ink and I had a blast getting creative with the greenery and lighting installation above the table scape. We created bunches of 3 different types of greenery from Rachael Ann’s Event Design centered in 3 geometric light fixtures from Nashville Audio Visual. It was like nothing we’d ever seen before and we were definitely feeling this modern eclectic wedding vibe. Ivy was a must on our list as we are noticing cascading bouquets come back into wedding styles and ivy was something out of the box compared to the usual eucalyptus greenery used over and over again in wedding settings (don’t get me wrong, I still love some euc!). Rachael of Rachael Ann’s Event Design did a phenomenal job on the bouquet as well – her creativity never ceases to amaze me when it comes to flowers! Keep scrolling to see more photos from Abigail and the video from Anne Claire Patterson!
