It’s finally time to announce Nashville Bride Guide’s Best Weddings of 2017! Y’all were gracious enough to send me dozens upon dozens of wedding submissions, and I’ve narrowed today’s post down to 10 of my favorites! All together, Nashville Bride Guide published 65 real weddings this year and enjoyed each one for various different reasons. Today’s post includes 10 of my favorite weddings with great photography, decor, and unique and creative ideas. Tomorrow I’ll be showcasing 5 additional weddings I felt had the best stories behind them. Congrats to the couples + vendors who put so much time and effort into not only the weddings themselves, but for taking the time to answer questions for your feature and send in your photos!
James + Bianca’s Glamorous Blush Wedding at The Hutton Hotel by Paige Brown Designs
This wedding has all the glitz and glam you could ask for! Paige Brown Designs had every corner of this wedding dripping in elegant draping, crystals and sequins. James (a pro football player) and Bianca pulled out all the stops for their blush wedding including a tiara, crystal draping, a personalized wedding cake and chandeliers everywhere you turn!
Sara + Mitchell’s Green + Gold, Southern Wedding at The Fontanel Mansion
This wedding is all about classic elegance with a twist! Sara + Mitchell latched onto the traditional southern wedding style all while adding pops of deep green and gold in their table scapes. As a destination wedding, the couple and their guests came from around the country to our neck of the woods for the festivities.
Simona + Logan’s Garden Wedding at Long Hollow Gardens
I love a garden wedding. Especially at Long Hollow Gardens! Simona + Logan’s wedding was so incredibly beautiful this past spring! The venue is one of my favorites in town and Jessica Lauren captured their day so elegantly. The pastel hues with pops of navy are so perfect for the setting!
Harley + Daniel’s Southern Vintage Wedding at Briar Rose Hill by Caitlin Steva
Again, I love a garden wedding and Harley + Daniel’s sweet and simple wedding at Briar Rose Hill is one of my favorites! You don’t have to pull out all the stops to have an incredibly gorgeous wedding. The vintage elegance in every detail throughout the November day fit in perfectly with the historical charm of the venue. The touches of leafy green garland + pops of purple set the scene for a traditional Southern soireééò.
Julie + Zach’s Luxury Nashville Barn Wedding By Laurie D’Anne Events
With the help of their designer and planner Laurie D’Anne Events, Julie + Zach had a glorious luxury barn wedding in the Nashville, TN area. Saddle Woods Farm was the perfect backdrop for the couple’s day from their delicately placed vintage inspired goblets all the way up to their custom draping designs!
Megan + David’s Whimsical Sunset Wedding at the Barn at Sycamore Farms
There’s nothing like an outdoor fall wedding in Tennessee… Embracing the southern culture, showing off the beautiful countryside and setting the stage for meaningful moments with your loved ones – it’s priceless. Megan + David took all of these factors into account and created a wedding that was uniquely “them” at The Barn at Sycamore Farms!
Lily + George’s Sweet, Eclectic Wedding by Jessie Holloway Photography
This is the story of two med school lovebirds who put so much hard work and dedication into their careers to finally rejoice and celebrate marriage! Lily + George wed at Homestead Manor in April with mint details, romantic elements and cultural traditions.
Elizabeth + Casey’s Glamorous Wedding in the Woods by Chad Erickson
Geometric shapes, geodes + jewel tones are all the rage in 2017, and Elizabeth + Casey’s wedding hit on all of these trends! Devon of Meet Cute Event Planning helped design the couple’s day to fit their modern aesthetic into a woodsy setting. And adding a little sparkle never hurt anyone! 🙂
Hailey + Grant’s Classic Southern Wedding at War Memorial by Music City Events
Grant + Hailey’s wedding at War Memorial! Planned by the downtown wedding pros themselves, Music City Events, each and every detail tied together created a cohesive and timeless wedding (I can’t stop saying timeless – this wedding truly is!). Plus, Grant wore a white suit and Hailey’s Cathedral-length veil was a showstopper!
Caitlin + Erik’s Romantic Lavender Garden Wedding at Cheekwood by Koby Brown
Caitlin + Erik had a classic outdoor wedding in July and totally pulled it off! Their wedding went off without a hitch despite the heat with classic Southern touches and elegance that would make Audrey Hepburn proud. Plus, Koby Brown‘s film photography is still making me swoon!
