It was a day to remember! Becca + Tommy Supalla’s wedding at Ruby this past April was so sweet, simple and meaningful. It was especially meaningful since Tommy (and now Becca!) is a family friend of ours and I’ve seen their relationship truly blossom over the past 4 years! I had the privilege of planning a few things here and there with Becca and being a wedding photographer herself (Rebecca Renee Photography), she truly knew what she wanted and how to accomplish it. From the loose greenery throughout the space at Ruby to the super fun doughnuts from Ellie’s, the vibe was so very James Bond meets hip southern downtown restaurant. Tell us about your engagement!
Becca: We were out to eat at Frothy Monkey in downtown Franklin where we had our first date and we finished dinner and walked outside where I first gave him a hug and he got on one knee in the rain and asked me to be his wife 🙂
What was the vision for your wedding?
Becca: Our vision was to personalize our wedding to better connect the audience in our 4 year story and make sure the people that helped us get to that day felt loved and appreciated.
What was the theme for your wedding and what inspired it?
Becca: Industrial with small hints of farm to table restaurant style
What are some tips you can share with other brides planning their weddings?
Becca: Book your vendors early, skip the dance lessons and just connect with your spouse. Narrow down your bridal party, & don’t skimp on the DJ.
