If you are the adventurous type, then capturing your engagement photos in front of a beautiful waterfall is a great idea! And you’ll want adventure photographers to do the job – which is why Jen & Chris Creed, aka, the Adventure Wedding Photographers were the perfect choice for Angela + Eddie’s engagement session. After many adventurous travels across the US, the couple got engaged at these very waterfalls right here in Tennessee. Angela’s flowing pink floral dress juxtaposed against the rock and greenery backdrop was such a beautiful sight. The session couldn’t get any more gorgeous! Waterfall Engagement Session
Greeter Falls, Altamont, TN
From the photographer, Jen Creed: Angela and Eddie, who are both resident physicians at Vanderbilt University, love to adventure together. They met during med school at NYU, and traveled the country together last year during their interviews for residency. They hit up the mighty 5 national parks in Utah, and the Pacific Coast Highway and Yosemite in California. As they settled into Nashville for residency, they began to explore some of the area waterfalls. Greeter Falls, in Altamont, TN, caught their eye for one such exploration. There are three different waterfalls to see along the hike, and at the third one (although it was barely flowing when they visited), Eddie proposed! So it was of course the perfect spot to go for their adventure engagement session! I love that it is meaningful to them, and not just another pretty place. It’s also one of the most unique and varied hikes in the area! There’s something magic that happens when you venture out of your comfort zone for an engagement session. Meeting at sunrise for this session made for some incredibly magical light and a sweet and peaceful morning!
