Tell us about the engagement session. Where did it take place?
From the photographer, Elizabeth: The engagement session lasted 4 hours! We started at their home in Lebanon for a fall look next to their lake house. However, I wanted to showcase the downtown Nashville portion of the shoot. We had 4 locations: The Four Seasons Hotel (residence side), Broadway, The Nashville Public Library, and The Hermitage Hotel.
What’s the significance of the location?
Elizabeth: They spend a lot of time at the Four Seasons because her family owns a condo there. They love spending weekends there especially during the wedding planning process. Clark is a huge lover of books so he requested that we do photos at the library! Broadway was a fun location in general because it’s classic Nashville and she’s planning to do her bachelorette party there.

What was it like working with the couple?
Elizabeth: Savannah and Clark are dream clients. I was dedicated to their vision while also incorporating my own ideas and creativity, which they trusted in me every step of the way. They love the experience that I offer which includes helping them find a professional hair and makeup artist as well as having a design consultation for them to discuss outfit selections for each location. I especially loved working with them because they’re so easy going and kind!
What did you like most about the session?
Elizabeth: I loved that I got to photograph inside an exclusive Four Seasons resident home and along the common areas that would not typically be open to just anyone. This was really special and I’m happy Savannah and Clark invited me into this part of their lives!
