Mal and Joe had double the fun at their rustic Nashville wedding! The couple chose to have a ceremony and reception at the beautiful Front Porch Farms and then brought the whole crew to downtown Nashville for a super fun afterparty at Nashville Underground. The first half of the day consisted of gorgeous blue hues and rustic decor at the outdoor farm venue. They even had their own emblem created by Prim + Pretty Prints (I’m all about this!)! After the sendoff, everyone danced the night away – especially Mal in her swanky fringe dress. Joe + Mal donned some branded ball caps and swayed to and fro to their friends’ super band. By the end of the weekend I could see why they needed two days to celebrate… because they are so generous, kind and FUN.
From the photographer, Feiten Photography: The ceremony day was outside and filled with mist, fog and a gentle rain. The rain stopped five minutes before the ceremony time so the groomsmen sprinted out to dry the seats off as the guests poured out from the transport vans. I love the images of Mal’s dad and her smiling up at the sky as they are walking down the aisle, pure gratitude for the brief pause of the rain.
The evening continued with toasts and laughter galore (Joe’s groomsmen had known him for decades so there were some GOOD stories).
From the photographer, Feiten Photography: They rounded up a bigger crew for a Saturday night reception at Nashville Underground where their musician friends compiled a lively and talented band. Different friends would rotate up, playing the tambourine, bass and belting out some incredible tunes. The evening carried on with lots of dancing, drinking and a good ole’ Nashville time.
Mal had so many thoughtful, beautiful touches throughout her day and threw an unforgettable reception party. Cheers!
