It’s not every day that a wedding with a helicopter entrance happens here in Nashville, TN… so when I got the call from Kitty of Oh Crumbs Bakery that Lauren + Colin were indeed having a helicopter entrance at their Tennessee barn wedding, I jumped for joy! The day started off as guests filtered into their seats on the private farm property off of Highway 65. From across the street, Lauren waited patiently as a family friend’s helicopter arrived to pick Lauren up to take her to the man of her dreams. Excitement built up as she flew in the air and descended upon the ceremony site as her groom awaited her. At last, Lauren’s parents met her as she arrived to walk her down the aisle to Colin. The tear-filled ceremony was filled with love and the couple even created a custom cattle “brand” as a symbol to seal the deal!
The ladies wore long flowy blush gowns while the men opted for a more casual barn look with vests, blue jeans and cowboy boots. After a few more shots from Kathy Thomas Photography with the helicopter, it was time to party! They created a custom outdoor space under a tent with lots of food and a fabulous cake from Oh Crumbs Bakery. The night closed out with a bonfire as the sun set and a love that would last a lifetime!
