From the photographer, Erin Turner: Erika + Jayson’s day goes far beyond the light and airy blush details, incredible views and quarry scenery. The couple is originally from Chicago so they brought down all their family and friends to Nashville for this full destination wedding. I loved all the personal touches they had planned, including a VERY emotional first look, taking communion together before the ceremony, and leading worship together after they were pronounced as husband and wife. This unique wedding day should be seen by many future brides as not only an inspiration to add in beautiful details, but also to make your wedding day more personal by adding in touches like these!
More from the photographer, Erin Turner: What a joyful day to relive! Erika, Jayson and their families had a destination wedding at the gorgeous Graystone Quarry in Nashville, TN. Most of their wedding guests came in from Chicago, where the two live and lead worship together. Their wedding day was full of so many beautiful moments – A first look with tears running down both their faces, a time of sharing communion together before the ceremony, and a wedding ceremony that ended in the new couple leading the congregation in worship. They were pronounced as husband and wife, and the first thing they did together was lead everyone in a few songs of worship that completely filled the huge ceremony space with praises to God. Just meeting Erika and Jayson twice I got a sense of the joy they share and the lives they live for Christ.
