Karen + Scott have a long distance relationship, and you can see their joy of being together radiate throughout their photos! Sarah Nichole Photography captured the couple’s love at Yazoo Brewery in The Gulch and also took a stroll near downtown Nashville for a skyline view. From the photographer Sarah Nichole: Karen and Scott have a classic, passionate love story of long distance and faithful love. After proposing to Karen using a custom-made wine bottle during a romantic trip to Napa Valley, Scott and Karen decided on a wedding date an began the planning process. This made their already long distance relationship even more busy as Scott was living in Florida and traveling to Asia frequently for work, and Karen was living Downtown Nashville in The Gulch. They were both excited to get the engagement photos done but expressed some vulnerability in that, because they have such little time together due to the long distance, they both felt a little awkward. This awkwardness quickly melted away as they began to hold hands, kiss, and hug throughout the engagement session. Karen and Scott were enthusiastic and determined to enjoy the brief moments together while Scott was in Nashville for a few days. Both Karen and Scott exhibited the passion, faithfulness, and perseverance it takes to maintain a long distance relationship, all while building towards a marriage to last a lifetime. It was an honor to be a part of their story if only for a few moments on this day.
