Caitlin + Erik had a classic outdoor wedding in July and totally pulled it off! Their wedding went off without a hitch despite the heat with classic Southern touches and elegance that would make Audrey Hepburn proud. The flowy lavender bridesmaid dresses and cascading greenery on the farm tables created a scene straight out of a fairytale! From the photographer, Koby Brown: Nashville is one of my favorite places to visit! A place where dreams begin for many artists, it's a city well known for it's music, love, & hope! So of course when Caitlin reached out to us to photograph her wedding at the historical Cheekwood Gardens, we were thrilled to have a chance to return again to this magical city. It was a scorching hot day in July for this beautiful outdoor event, but you would never know it from the pictures! Caitlin and her girls look gorgeous in their gowns, the lavender JLM Couture bridesmaids gowns were the perfect compliment to the summer garden colors. One of my favorite moments of the girls was when they first saw Caitlin in her gown – so sweet! Even though Caitlin and Erik choose not to do a first look, they were careful to allow plenty of time in their timeline after the ceremony for a very special session with just the two of them before the sun set. It was a beautiful opportunity for both of them to soak in the excitement of being married and take full advantage of the gorgeous grounds Cheekwood has to offer. The reception that followed was a wonderful event under the stars with the amazing architecture of the Frist building as a stunning backdrop!
