Congrats on your launch! Tell us a little bit about Tap Truck Nashville!

Sean and Kay: Tap Truck Nashville is Nashville’s newest (and oldest) mobile beverage service. We look to “make a impact” at every event by serving some of Nashville’s finest craft brews, ciders, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages from the side of a classic truck! From 50 to 5,000, cargo shorts to cummerbunds, we can serve just about any beverage to any size crowd at any location…as long as we can fit!

Tell us more about the drinks you served from the truck!

Sean and Kay: For our official Nashville launch, we wanted to make sure we represented a few of the best brews floating around the city. We ran the gamut of styles and tapped East Nashville Beer Works’ Honey Blonde Ale (Miro Miel), Bearded Iris’ Homestyle IPA, Gerst from Yazoo, and Jackalope’s Bear Walker. We also wanted to make sure we accounted for the kiddos and DD’s, so we had Blueberry Lemonade on tap as well!

What sort of entertainment and activities did you have at the party?

Sean and Kay: We know that few things go better with great beer and great friends than live music, so we had the lovely and talented Ashley Briggs (@ashleybriggsmusic) perform with the incredible John Stanislowski (@johnstanmusic). We were super grateful to have them out and can’t wait to see them again in the very near future. Check them out!

What did guests enjoy most about the launch party?

Sean and Kay: I think there were a few things our guests enjoyed that day. First and foremost, there’s nothing like grabbing a great beer from the side of a great truck. Second, Diskin Cider was the absolute perfect venue for our Nashville launch. It was raining that day, so the staff at Diskin rolled up the garage doors and parked us inside. As much as we would’ve loved to have been out on the patio, I think featuring the truck indoors was definitely something that everyone was surprised by. Finally, I think people enjoyed seeing how diverse our truck can be with our beverage offerings. We can roll up to any event with more than just beer. Wine, Cider, Cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages (coffee, tea, lemonade, water) are all great options and totally “tap-able”.

What did you enjoy most about the launch party?

Sean and Kay: There were two. First, working with the staff at Diskin Cider was outstanding! Todd, Laura, and Reni were phenomenal hosts and went above and beyond to ensure that our launch was as successful as it could possibly be. From helping with the logistics and marketing to setting up the space, we were blown away by how accommodating they were. We’re pumped to work with them again. Second, it was so great to see so many Nashville faces! Truth be told, with a TON of people impacted by the recent tornado and concerned over COVID-19, we weren’t sure how “successful” the event was going to be so it was so incredible to see so many folks still out and about. We absolutely love this city and can’t wait to see how many ways we can serve it!
