Nature’s beauty shined bright in Bailee and JR’s Sewanee engagement session by Gambill Photography. Letting their faith inspire the location and meaning behind their photos, they embraced one another throughout the session beneath the beautiful sky, with their two adorable dogs tagging along too! Whether they were walking hand in hand or igniting sparks, there’s no doubt you’re going to love this one!
How did you get engaged? Tell us about your proposal!
Bailee: It was February 22, we went out to a nice dinner and I was so confused why he was having a melt down about spilling marinara on his shirt, I assured him it would be alright since I could get it out, he went to the bathroom and was gone for about 20 minutes. Little did I know he had planned on asking me to marry him and went to the bathroom to wash his shirt in the sink and used the hand dryer to dry it! He told me once he had my dads permission he couldn’t wait any longer and we got engaged that same night.

Bailee: 20

Bailee: Boho/modern
What’s your most fun purchase/hire to date?
Bailee: All of them contributors have been amazing so I can’t really pick one!
What aspect of being engaged has surprised you the most?
Bailee: How quickly time goes by.
What have you most enjoyed about being engaged?
Bailee: Falling more in love with my partner throughout the entire process.
Tell us about your engagement session. Where did it take place?
Bailee: It took place in beautiful Sewanee, Tennessee at the cross and around campus, because without the Lord above we wouldn’t be where we are today.
What’s the significance of the location(s)?
Bailee: The significance is God has been the center of our entire relationship so what better way symbolize that than to take pictures at the cross.
What was it like working with your photographer?
Bailee: Gambill Photography was amazing and very professional.
What did you like most about the session?
Bailee: How sweet they were and how comfortable they made us feel throughout the process.

Bailee: Yes I would recommend Gambill Photography because there service was outstanding and it always feels nice to know your photographer cares.

Bailee: Finding someone you love and want to cherish for the rest of your life can be challenging at times, but I promise, the journey is always worth it!
