Oh how sweet and simple elopements pull at my heartstrings! Which is why I absolutely love Alexa + Zack’s elopement on the Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville, TN. Despite the rain, Dixie of Lion & Lark Photography captured all the emotion of their day as the umbrellas of a small group of friends and family gathered to watch them wed on the bridge. Their love story is one of a kind and I can’t wait for you to read it below!
Elopements + bohemian style are the jam lately in Nashville weddings, which is why I was so excited when this boho elopement styled shoot came across my inbox! The very talented team of Wilde Company Photography + Makeup by Katie-Laine Thornton along with some other incredible vendors collabed to create this simple elopement scene on a cliff in Sparta, TN. After venturing through the woods, they finally found the perfect spot to shoot this off-beat couple (don’t you love their look!?) right as the sun was setting. Blush wedding dress, bare feet, dreadlocks and a casual picnic created a super fun and uniquely styled elopement. Take a look at all of Amy of Wilde and Company‘s photos below along with a little insight from her perspective on the day!

Small scale elopements are becoming more and more popular these days, and I absolutely love Lindsay + Taylor’s mix of small and large for their wedding weekend! First, the couple opted for an immediate family only ceremony at a cabin in Leiper’s Fork complete with a book wall (as they are avid book lovers) and a laid-back DIY meal for the small gathering. The next day, the couple hosted a Monday wedding at The Cordelle in Nashville complete with even more personalized details like the space-themed movie projections and hand-drawn caricature place cards for each guest (done by the bride Lindsay!). Take a look at their swoon-worthy photos by Jen & Chris Creed below and read more about their entire wedding weekend!
