Tell us all about your honeymoon!
Gina: Four our honeymoon we went to The Sandals Grande St. Lucian Resort and it was INCREDIBLE. Having been an experienced traveler all over the world, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Sandals. However, it greatly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived we felt at ease after a stressful wedding week. We wanted a honeymoon where we could just sit and relax and this was the perfect destination. From the staff to the amazing amenities and views, we were honestly blown away by our experience and can’t wait to go back!
Did you go on any excursions?
Gina: We booked a ‘club level’ room which came with a few included excursions. One being a fun hike with a group to a beautiful lookout and the second being a boat ride with snorkeling. Both were really fun and low key which we loved. We didn’t feel the need to leave the resort in order to have fun excursions.
Was your experience all-inclusive?
Gina: Yes! I have never had an all – inclusive experience before and was worried about the quality of the food. But the restaurants were all amazing! There were so many choices and you could even visit the sister resorts to try their restaurants as well. And the service was incredible as well.

Why would you recommend going somewhere tropical for your honeymoon?
Gina: We recommend going somewhere tropical because after your wedding you will be exhausted. We wanted somewhere where we could just be at ease and relax on the beach after a long week and it was perfect. Just soak up that time together as life gets crazy again afterwards!
Would you stay there again?
Gina: Absolutely! We can’t wait to go back. This time we are saving up for an over the water bungalow.
Is there anything else you’d like to share about your honeymoon?
Gina: Pro tip- Buy the helicopter ride to the resort! An hour long van ride through windy roads is a little rough, so opt for the short helicopter ride instead.
