My oh my, this whimsical garden wedding at 14TENN is a real-life fairytale! When planning their design, Jamie and Erick opted for a neutral palette filled with an abundant of lush blooms, organic greenery, and touches of gold. The natural light of the venue added to the glowing aesthetic and made every detail and moment captured that much prettier. (But seriously…it’s too good to even put it into words!) Thanks to Kendall Parsons Photography, we get to take in all the serenity that this day brings. Get ready to be whisked away!
Jamie + Erick
14TENN
Guests ~ 130
Budget ~ $30,000 – 40,000
What was the vision for your wedding?
Jamie: A simple, modern and romantic feel with lots of greenery. I wanted it to feel like I was in a whimsical garden oasis. I loved that 14Tenn was a blank, white canvas with lots of natural light. The string lights and barn wood tables also gave it the perfect romantic vibe I was going for.
What was your theme and what inspired it?
Jamie: A Whimsical, Romantic Garden Inspired Oasis
What details were used to create your theme?
Jamie: Lots of greenery and white florals with touches of gold accents throughout the space. Loose greenery hung on the ceremony wall, chandeliers, beams and poles throughout the venue. The bridal party carried whimsical, organic and lush bouquets made up of white florals, sword fern and Italian ruscus. Dining tables featured Italian ruscus greenery and pops of seeded eucalyptus down the middle with gold lanterns, bud vases, and mercury votives. Gold pressed glass frames were used for the table numbers and signs. The cake even featured pockets of greenery and white florals with gold flakes.
Where did you splurge? Where did you save/DIY?
Jamie: A huge savings was getting a large tiered “fake cake” with multiple layers made of styrofoam. I had no idea you could do this! We severed the guests from a sheet cake that was hidden away in the kitchen and the bottom layer of our cake. We also saved by bringing in our own Alcohol and using frosted cups instead of glassware.
Can you share any special moments or highlights from your wedding day?
Jamie: We ordered glow up tambourines last minute for the dance floor and they were a HUGE hit! Guests were able to be interactive on and around the dance floor without having to actually dance.
Congrats to the beautiful couple, Jamie and Erick! We’re honored to share your whimsical garden wedding at 14TENN!
