The pair opted to have their tropical destination wedding and honeymoon in the same place…at Sandals Royal Curaçao. Tell us all about your honeymoon!
James + Kathryn: We combined our honeymoon and wedding into one!! Such a fun way to celebrate!! Sandals did an amazing job in making us feel special, from photography to small details, we were so surprised by the attention and love we received.
What made you choose this resort?
James + Kathryn: We had traveled to other Sandals resorts in the past. We had witnessed engagements and weddings while at those resorts. Each resort had multiple venues to choose from and numerous upgrades to make our day so special. In Curacao the double infinity pool didn’t hurt!!
What was it like working with Carlie at 2 Travel Anywhere?
James + Kathryn: Carlie was so careful to make sure all details were taken care of. She helped find discounts where available and walked us through each step. Our travel was seamless.
What features of the resort were your favorite?
James + Kathryn: The double infinity pool was breathtaking. The number of restaurants to choose from and food being available at all hours was perfect. One of our favorites were the food truck option on the water with outdoor seating. The view was beautiful and service impeccable. The decor was so classy and elegant. Details like the heart shaped chairs and fire pits blew us away.
What was your favorite meal at the resort?
James + Kathryn: All the food trucks were so good for a lighter menu. We really enjoyed Gatsu Gatsu for sushi and the the surf and turf option at Strand was amazing.
Would you recommend this resort to other couples for their honeymoon?
James + Kathryn: We would 100% recommend this to other couples either as a honeymoon, destination wedding, or anniversary trip.
