If there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that change is the only constant we can count on. With March 2020 bringing about so much uncertainty and altering their wedding plans, Ralph and Beulah knew one thing remained… their love. And with that they held a sweet and intimate in-home wedding! While the guest size may have decreased as plans were changing weeks prior, the abundance of love and heartfelt moments were strong! These photos captured by Photography by Janae prove that all you need is love!
Ralph + Beulah
Janae: Ralph and Beulah ended up saying “I do” on March 21st, 2020, in the middle of the pandemic. There were less than ten people in attendance, but we could all feel the strength of their love that day.
SO the plan A for their BIG day was to have about 50-60 people in attendance for a smaller ceremony, mostly just their family. Then they would have a small lunch reception with about 150 people to celebrate their love. Well, as we all know, March 2020 was unlike any month any of us have ever experienced.
Janae: Basically in the weeks leading up to their wedding, every day the plan changed. The week before their planned day was when everything started shutting down, and uncertainty really started to creep in. Their church, which was going to be the main venue, had to shut down due to regulations. That sent everyone scrambling for a new venue, but OH wait! Then on March 16th, President Trump issued the statement recommending gatherings being held at a 10 person maximum.
These rapid events had their plans cancelling from left and right, but as you know, not their love. The arrangements that ended up being the final plan were about plan F. They didn’t have their venue, most of their original guests, and a few other things that I know would have made their day special; however, I think their wedding day was about as romantic as it gets!!
