Rooftop Fairlane Hotel Wedding | Nashville Bride Guide

Rooftop Fairlane Hotel Wedding by Meghan Melia Photography

With great admiration for Nashville, Seattle residents Jordan and Charlene knew getting married in “Music City” was the perfect decision. While their celebration was always meant to be intimate, they tied the knot with just six loved ones and one furry friend surrounding them with the rest of their friends and family attending virtually to witness the beauty of the day. Their rooftop Fairlane Hotel wedding was the best blend of modern, minimal, and sweet. From the exchange of vows and Jewish traditions to their impromptu photo session and moments shared, we know you’re going to adore these photos by the talented Meghan Melia Photography!

Tell us about your engagement!

Charlene: Engaged during a trip to Israel in October 2019. The proposal was at the end of a hike under a waterfall with 4 other bystanders. The rest of the trip ended up being 100 times more romantic.

What was the vision for your wedding?

Charlene: Neither of us necessarily had a “vision” for our wedding, but there were some key elements we both thought were important on our special day. Most importantly was having our families and closest friends (virtually or in person) present. As far as the rest of the details, we were looking to have an evening that was relaxed, spontaneous and memorable. We wanted to look back on our day and not wish we had done it differently,

What was your theme and what inspired it?

Charlene: We didn’t have a theme, just were going for urban, minimalist and romantic vibes.

Can you share any special moments or highlights from your wedding day?

Charlene: Although majority of our guests were watching via zoom, we absolutely loved saying a quick hello to each of our guests after the ceremony. Our main highlight was probably our ceremony TBH, but our couples photo shoot was so much fun for us. It was impromptu, whimsical and yet so perfect.

What are some tips you can share with other brides planning their weddings?

Charlene: I think just doing what’s best for the two of you- you can’t always accommodate everyone!

Is there anything else you’d like to share about your wedding?

Charlene: Our wedding plans, like many in 2020, were affected by COVID-19 . We went from a 35 person guest count down to one other family (6 guests) + a dog

There’s no doubt about it; intimate weddings are absolutely gorgeous… this one especially! Huge thank you to Charlene and Jordan and to Meghan Melia Photography for sharing this beautiful rooftop Fairlane Hotel wedding with us.
