Pink Rose Inspired Wedding from Amy & I Designs

Our friends at Amy & I Designs have done it again! This time making Katherine and Jake’s pink rose inspired wedding dazzle with some of the prettiest floral arrangements we ever did see! A sweet name in the family (Rose) along with Katherine’s favorite color were the muses for the design. From the outdoor ceremony to the indoor celebration, soft feminine flowers decked out the venue of The Barn at Sycamore Farms. The pretty rose hue also popped through the bridesmaids dresses, table linens, and calligraphy wedding bar signs. It’s all sorts of beautiful and we’re so thankful that Ever Creative was able to capture the magic in this highlight video and dynamic imagery!

The Barn at Sycamore Farms

Guests ~ 130

Budget ~ $40,000 – 50,000

How did you guys meet?

Katherine: I moved across the country to Tucson, Arizona four years ago and met Jake the first week I lived there. We immediately connected and have been happily together ever since!

What details were used to create your theme?

Katherine: I’ve always been a pink fanatic, so there was obviously a ton of pink. My mom’s name is Rosanne and my middle name is Rose, so I knew from the get-go that I wanted roses to play a big role in the florals. Amy was able to take that and create the most beautiful florals I’ve ever seen.

Where did you splurge? Where did you save/DIY?

Katherine: We splurged on florals and photo/video! I have a friend who does amazing calligraphy, so we asked her to do the seating chart and table markers, and they all turned out so amazing. We are huge sports fans, so each table was a team name rather than a number.

What words of advice do you have for couples in the midst of their planning?

Katherine: Make a spreadsheet for everything! I was so calm and relaxed on wedding day because I knew everything was planned, everyone had a schedule for the day, and Amy was there to steer the ship.

Can you share any special moments or highlights from your wedding day?

Katherine: We got married outside in May so I was hoping that the weather would cooperate with us for the outside portion. It was warm earlier in the day while we did our First Look and took photos, but became overcast for the ceremony. It cooled off quite a bit for the ceremony, family photos and cocktail hour, and started pouring down rain as soon as everyone was coming inside for the ceremony! It rained for 20-30 minutes, but was perfect the rest of the night for our sparkler exit. When we did our first look, I went in to hug Jake and my dress strap BROKE. There’s a fabulous sequence of photos of this happening in live time. One of Amy’s team had a sewing kit and my MIL re-attached the strap, but it’s a great story.

Is there anything else you’d like to share about your wedding?

Katherine: BEST DAY EVER

This is so dreamy! Huge thanks to Katherine, Jake and Amy & I Designs for sharing this incredible pink rose inspired wedding.
