When it comes to pretty wedding colors, it doesn’t get much lovelier than Danielle and James’ picturesque purple wedding at Noah Liff Opera Center. From the gorgeous blooms and flowy bridesmaids dresses, to the uplighting, floral wedding cake, and everything in between — the lilac shades took center stage. And while the majestic hues were stunning, the love that Danielle and James share really stole the show. One look at these photos from Once Like A Spark and you’ll see just what we mean!
Danielle + James
Vine Street Christian Church & Noah Liff Opera Center
From the bride: I moved to Nashville to pursue my master’s degree at Vanderbilt. James previously attended Vanderbilt and played football while he was there. He would frequently come back to Nashville to visit old friends and teammates. One night I (reluctantly) went to Broadway with a few friends, and as fate would have it, James was out with his friends too. Our two friend groups ran into each other and found out we had mutual connections. Soon thereafter, we had our first official date!
Our original wedding date was scheduled for April 2020, but unfortunately due to COVID, we were one of many couples forced to abruptly cancel our initial plans. After two wedding date postponements over a year later, I finally got married to my best friend! We feel like we’ve been waiting a lifetime for our wedding day, but the yearlong wait was TOTALLY worth it as we had the opportunity to celebrate with many of our family and friends. Our ceremony was held at Vine Street Christian Church which boasts an ornate pipe organ. Our reception took place at Noah Liff Opera Center. Its picturesque floor-to-ceiling windows and stunning crystal chandeliers lent for the best backdrop for dancing and drinks!
