Modern Minimalist Wedding at Ozari

We love a good October celebration! And when they’re as pretty as Lauren and Austin’s modern minimalist wedding at Ozari, we can’t help but be even more obsessed. Keeping things laid-back and intimate, the industrial style venue was the perfect setting to host the simplistic decor consisting of ivory linens, tons of fresh greenery, and wooden textures that all came together thanks to the help of the talented team of Studio B. Additionally, champagne bridesmaids dresses, Lauren’s incredibly chic style along with Austin’s classic black and white tuxedo and bowtie have given this day an 10/10 in style! Also just wait until you see Lauren’s white orchid bouquet and complementing wedding cake…absolutely gorgeous. We think you’re really going to love everything about this affair and the moments captured by Leah Michelle Photo is the cherry on top!

Tell us about the couple.

Emily: Lauren + Austin are one of the most relaxed and low-key couples. They have the sweetest love and it was so fun working with them. They are constantly laughing and it’s so refreshing to see couples love the way they do!

Tell us about the couple’s vision.

Emily: The couple wanted to have an intimate reception with all of their closest friends and family. Like I said, this couple is very relaxed and low key so they didn’t want their reception to feel really formal. They just wanted to everyone to have a good time, eat good food, and listen to great music – who, by the way, was DJ Blackcircle. The groom was an absolute fan of him when they went to Rosemary Beauty Queen one night and the rest is history.

What was their theme and what inspired it?

Emily: Modern/Minimalist. The design we created in Ozari, blended with the florals by Chelsea Carter, gave us the most clean, simple, modern + minimalistic vibes we could have hoped for. It was gorgeous!

What details were used to create their theme?

Emily: We used a mixture of textures: The brick from Ozari, ivory textured linens + black napkins, wooden modern tables and lots of greenery with pops of white.

Can you share any special moments or highlights of their wedding day?

Emily: The bride surprised the groom with a golf cart! So fun (and registered) so they got to do their exit on it!

Did they have any special requests or unique challenges that you had to work together to overcome?

Emily: We did get a bit of rain. We were planning on having cocktail hour out on Ozari’s brand new beautiful patio, but the rain kept us from that – we were able to shift and do cocktail hour in L& L market, so worked out perfectly that Ozari is in that building.

Congratulations Lauren and Austin! Thanks for sharing your day with us.
