Intimate Courtyard Wedding Dinner Celebration

A beautiful couple, lovely weather, and a gorgeous setting — today’s feature is a breathe of fresh air! Having said their vows privately a few days prior, Michael and Jacy gathered their family and friends for an intimate courtyard wedding dinner celebration. As we were scrolling through the gallery captured by Abby Weeden Photography we couldn’t help but feel as though we too were in attendance. The design was simple, yet striking. We could feel the energy from the live band. The love from everyone was jumping through the screen. And the connection between Michael and Jacy’s souls are as sweet and serene as can be. Once you take a look at this collection of details and moments we think you’re going to be just as in love as we are!

From the photographer, Abby: Michael and Jacy were some of the last people lucky enough to celebrate their wedding at Nashville’s Alabaster Collective. Having privately said their vows and married in the days prior, Michael and Jacy brought together their family and closest friends for a classic courtyard wedding party complete with live band, beautiful weather, and craft cocktails. The two were able to spend a slow morning and afternoon preparing for their special evening. Their guests were filled to the brim with affection for the couple and the night ended with a swell of bubbles creating iridescent orbs with the flash of the camera.

Tell us about your engagement!

Jacy: Michael and I had our first date at Duke’s bar in East Nashville. Two years later he proposed at Duke’s while we were grabbing a drink before dinner at Margot Cafe.

What was the vision for your wedding?

Jacy: Intimate dinner party!

What was your theme and what inspired it?

Jacy: We’ve always been a fan of small gatherings, and when we toured Alabaster Collective we knew we could create a memorable night for our closest family and friends!

Can you share any special moments or highlights from your wedding day?

Jacy: Somehow, red wine was spilled down the front of my dress. Bartenders came to the rescue with soda water! The accident made for some great laughs and even better pictures. The dress was saved by Nicholson Cleaners!

What are some tips you can share with other brides planning their weddings?

Jacy: Enjoy every moment. The entire day will fly by!

These images are incredible and show off the day to perfection! Thank you so much to Jacy, Michael, and Abby Weeden Photography for letting us feature this beautiful, intimate courtyard wedding dinner celebration.
