Intimate Backyard Wedding with Vintage China from The Wedding Plate | Nashville

Mauri + Ross Harrison decided to keep their wedding simple – and I love it! The small details Mauri used to decorate her intimate wedding with 40 guests included some boho details such as a greenery and succulent bouquet, a gorgeous hanging floral ceremony backdrop, a colorful floral embroidered wedding dress, and vintage china from The Wedding Plate. From the colorful goblets to the mismatched place settings, The Wedding Plate’s collection fit in fabulously with the couple’s aesthetic! I also love all of the cake stands used for the pies and desserts from The Wedding Plate‘s collection. Keep scrolling to see the photos from Seth Chandler and hear the couple’s story from Mauri!

From the bride, Mauri: In a small town in Arkansas, Ross and I met at a Christian University. We first met at a sporting event, and did not see each other again until months later at a friend’s house. There was a mixture of friendly and flirty in our relationship and Ross definitely played his cards close to the chest. After months of uncertainty, Ross finally revealed his feelings for me and we went on our first date to Pasta Grill. We dated for three years with many peaks and valleys. Ross made many sacrifices and moved to Nashville to be with me. Four months later we got engaged. A month and a half later, we got married with 40 of our closest friends and family surrounding us. It was a magical November evening including soups, pies, and coffee. We now live in a 600 square foot apartment with our two giant dogs. We are cozy and happy!

Thanks so much for sharing your wedding photos and your sweet story with us, Mauri! You can check out more of the gorgeous china that was at Mauri + Ross’s wedding from The Wedding Plate online and also here on Instagram!
