Gorgeous Wedding at The Bridge Building from John Myers Photography

With many memorable moments shared at the riverfront throughout their relationship, it was only fitting that Brandice and Marland choose to have a gorgeous wedding at The Bridge Building. Filled with a neutral palette with touches of pink, their day included a beautiful ceremony, an epic menu of delicious food, and a celebration with scenic views as they danced with loved ones. John Myers Photography was there to capture every moment through photo and video. Y’all are going to love what’s in store!

After receiving her father’s blessing, Marland planned a romantic dinner date at one of their most-loved restaurants, Wild Ginger. The evening was off to a lovely start, when their favorite hostess told the couple she was bringing out a special, new dish that the chef prepared for the evening. The dish was uncovered, revealing a ring box! The couple’s dear friends were waiting for the big moment in a private section of the restaurant and began to gather around the table, cheering with joy as Marland got down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage. She said, yes!

What was the vision for your wedding?

Brandice: We envisioned an intimate, romantic and fun wedding so we chose special touches that highlighted our love story and accentuated the natural beauty of our location. The Bridge Building was a sentimental venue because we met in Nashville and shared many special moments near the riverfront. We thought it would be fun to celebrate our special day with an amazing rooftop view of the city and dance the night away with our close friends and family.

What was your theme and what inspired it?

Brandice: Romantic, Southern Inspired Colors: Rose gold, blush, neutral tones

Can you share any special moments or highlights from your wedding day?

The couple had a beautiful and intimate rooftop ceremony. The bridal party entered to music performed by a saxophonist. 3 year-old Kennedy, cousin of the bride, was the adorable flower girl and 5 year-old Josh, nephew of the groom, was the cute ring bearer. During the ceremony the couple shared personal reflections from the heart. Guest were escorted downstairs for a cocktail hour featuring southern-comfort style Hors D’ouveres such as chicken and waffle bites, crab cakes, and bacon wrapped scallops to name a few. During the reception, guests enjoyed dinner, toasts and a riverfront view. The menu featured bourbon glazed salmon, herb encrusted chicken, and smoked brisket. Guests were astonished by a delightfully choreographed first dance and everyone grooved the night away on the rooftop. Their exit was picture perfect with a sparkler send-off and a vintage Jaguar, getaway car.

We adore everything about this gorgeous wedding at The Bridge Building!! Huge thanks to John Myers Photography for sharing it with us.
