You can’t go wrong with an elegant and classic Nashville wedding – and that’s exactly the story Caroline + Billy wrote on their wedding day. The couple chose to get married on the grounds of Historic Travellers Rest this past May. Details included the beautiful tree-lined ceremony aisle to the colorful pops of florals. But the most enjoyable part was being surrounded by friends + family for one glorious occasion. Keep reading to get all of the scoop on the wedding from photographer Zoe Life Photography

Travellers Rest

From the photographer, Zoe of Zoe Life Photography: Caroline and Billy had an elegant and classic Tennessee wedding with simple decorations and pops of color. They were married on the grounds of the Historic Traveller’s Rest Plantation, under beautiful shaded trees, with a fun barn reception. It was a perfect summer evening in Nashville, TN. It had been drizzly earlier in the day, but by the time Caroline walked down the aisle, the rain had stopped, and the sun had come out.

From the photographer, Zoe Life Photography: The bride chose the colors of navy, gold, and blush to give her wedding fun pops of color with hints of tradition. She wanted her wedding day to be more about celebrating with her friends and family.

From the photographer, Zoe Life Photography: At the reception, they had a ribbon send-in, in which guests waved ribbons to welcome in the bride and groom to the reception. Later, guests enjoyed good food, and an ice cream truck under twinkling lights outside. It was a wonderful evening!
