From the photographer, Amanda May: Ashley and P.L. are one of the most amazing couples. They are totally 100% surrounded by the most loving friends and family. Ashley is a nurse and P.L. is in pharmacy school. They both reside in Nashville where they are both from and met. On their wedding day, Ashley had a suite at the Embassy Suites off of West End. Upon arriving, she had a huge buffet line full of breakfast and brunch items. Individualized coffee mugs with each bridesmaid and mother/grandmother's name on them along with a completely stocked Keurig was also waiting for the girls when they arrived. There were little decorations and flower arrangements throughout the whole suite… it was probably one of the most amazing bridal suites I've ever seen.

From the photographer, Amanda May: Over at Houston Station where the guys were hanging out, there was nintendo, cigars, and corn hole. Completely stocked with the most enjoyable guy past times. As the day unfolded I learned so much about the history of Ashley's family. They had so many traditions that had been passed down to each bride. Even the grandmother's, mother's, and bride's ring were designed in almost the same exact layout, with subtle differences that made them unique. The veil that the bride had worn had been passed through something like 22 different weddings. There was a cake knife that had also been used in every wedding since her great grandmother's. There was a penny that father's of this family always gave their daughter where one side looked like a penny and the other side was silver and engraved. The hair stylist and makeup artist was a very talented old friend of the bride that she had known since elementary school. The florist was the bride's dance teacher since she was 5 years old. Every single detail of this wedding had meaning behind it. There was not one thing over looked or forgotten or passed by. Each and every detail had such an impact behind it that came all together to make for one of the most magical weddings I've shot in Nashville.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful work with us, Amanda!
