With quarantine reigniting the creative spirit to follow her dream of designing wedding gowns, meet Jamie Myranda! The passion for this local Nashville wedding dress designer started at a young age and now she has launched her very own collection along with the ability to work with brides to create their own custom gowns. Get to know Jamie and more about what makes her business unique in the interview below!
Tell us about Jamie Myranda + how long you’ve been in business.
Jamie: Jamie Myranda is a wedding dress designer offering ready-to-wed, made-to-order and custom wedding gowns in the Nashville area. I have been in business since March of 2020.
How did you get started in weddings?
Jamie: I started “designing” gowns as an itty bitty teenager. It wasn’t until the beginning of quarantine that a passion for art and design was reignited! I had so many design ideas, I knew they had to be seen to completion. I set out to create my own line of dreamy gowns and Jamie Myranda Collection was born!
What’s the philosophy behind Jamie Myranda?
Jamie: I believe in a personal, no-pressure wedding shopping experience. I look forward to taking the time getting to know my brides, their vision, and making magic together! Even more, our brides will be making a difference in a woman’s life with their purchase. One gown will be donated to a bride in need for every five gowns sold!
What is the most innovative new product, service, style or other aspect of your industry that brides and grooms might appreciate?
Jamie: A charity aspect is applied to my brand, with one gown being donated for every five sold. I have a hands on approach with design–I welcome the creativity and expressiveness of my brides, so they feel involved in their wedding gown making or purchasing process! For last minute brides, I have a collection of gowns ready to be taken home.
