Lindsy of Music City Events: This intimate wedding styled shoot is perfect inspiration for couples ready to celebrate their big day, post-quarantine! We planned an over-the-top joyful and colorful wedding to remind brides and grooms that love wins and their celebration matters, even if it looks a little different than they envisioned.

With wedding venues closed in Nashville, we opted to set up outside for a garden wedding. After months indoors, it felt great to be outside! The rich, velvet tablecloth was the perfect contrast under a rainbow of chair ties (posing as ribbons) hanging from a whimsical tree branch above. Our tablescape was bright and bold, and included a gorgeous mix of floral arrangements. From peonies and dahlias, to ranunculus… the floral centerpiece and decorations were the perfect way to play up this garden celebration!

Lindsy: One of the most unique things about this shoot is the colorful and non-traditional invitation suite. We incorporated bold colors like yellow, orange, fuschia and teal, so it perfectly matches the vibe of the rest of the wedding shoot! White Ink Calligraphy hand wrote with teal and white ink on the invitations, and she also included unique elements like a rose print, cheetah print, and floral envelope liner.

The invitation suite had a retro vibe and was inspired by Betsey Johnson. We styled the invitation suite with confetti and colorful blooms! Mixing prints and mixing non-traditional colors isn’t a trend we see often in the wedding industry, so we thought this joyful shoot would be the perfect time to showcase pops of colors and no neutral undertones!

Lindsy: The reception table was a display of color, featuring blush and gold elements that stood out from the ocean blue velvet. Antique pink salad plates brought out the rosy hues in the copper chargers while cut crystal goblets and pink vintage glassware adorned each place setting.

Lindsy: The style for this shoot was intentionally fun and unique! The bride wore a gorgeous, off the shoulders minimalist dress, and the groom’s look came together with a floral tie. The guys sported colorful, floral shirts and the ladies wore matching polka dot dresses and yellow earrings! The bride’s bold lip color tied in with her big, beautiful bouquet, and it was the perfect way to brighten her wedding day look even more!

Lindsy: We wrapped up our shoot with plenty of confetti and bride and groom portraits in a field of yellow flowers! Just like the rest of the wedding shoot, we wanted the portraits to portray an abundance of joy and celebration! The confetti bridal portraits and bride and groom portraits perfectly showcase the joy of celebrating with a small group of friends after a global pandemic and lockdown.

This colorful backyard wedding inspiration from Music City Events brings instant happiness! Huge thanks to this talented team for sharing it with us!
