Minimal wedding ceremony decor: Clean & Modern Styled Shoot at 14TENN featured on Nashville Bride Guide

Clean & Modern Styled Shoot at 14TENN

Classic, sophisticated, and chic, this clean and modern styled shoot at 14TENN is proving that neutral colors and simple styles are anything, but boring! Ghost chairs and acrylic shines provided such sleekness, the florals and pampas grass ceremony decor enhanced the design with texture, and a striking a-line gown brought the traditional touch. The model bride could not look anymore beautiful and that natural light shining through the venue is the cherry on top of the cake! See the dreamy images captured by Jordan & Alaina and read what Emily of As We Gather Events has to say about the editorial in the interview below!

Tell us about the shoot vision.

Emily of As we Gather: We wanted the gorgeous natural light of 14TENN to be prominently featured in the shoot. It is such a malleable space that each vendor’s contribution to the installation had a moment to shine. The aesthetic of our make-believe-bride could be described as natural, sophisticated, and eclectic. Each element was an infusion of modern and traditional design with nods to eco-friendly selections while maintaining an air of Southern charm. The acrylic ghost chair seating and minimalist cake were chic and sleek, while the calligraphy, heirloom table settings, and luxe, emerald green velvet love-seat added a sense of tradition and sophistication. Additionally the gown was a classic A-line silhouette with a sweetheart neckline paired with a felt cuban hat topped with a floral wreath. Although our bride has her heart rooted in tradition, she also has her eyes on the future which is why eco-friendly styling options such as pampas grass, which has a reduced water footprint, and was used to style the altar and a reclaimed driftwood lighting installation was hung above the head table.

What was the theme and what inspired it?

Emily: The initial inspiration for the shoot was a modern bride with a neutral color scheme that was highly textural. The look was highly floral driven with pampas grass, tulips, and garden roses.

What details were used to create the theme?

Emily: The primary color scheme of the shoot was neutrals: taupes, ecru, blush, grays, and greens. While the pampas grass at the altar was certainly an eye-catcher, the tables-capes were overflowing with luscious floral arrangements.

Can you share any special moments or highlights of the day?

Emily: The pampas grass altar, reclaimed driftwood hanging installation, as well as the floral wreath on the hat to complete the bridal ensemble are visually impactful moments that shined in this shoot.

Were there any special requests or unique challenges that you had to work together to overcome?

Emily: Thankfully we had wonderful weather and each vendor was able to collaborate without a hitch!
