Tell us about Jayde J. Smith Events + how long you’ve been in business.
Jayde: Jayde J. Smith Events is a full service event planning company specializing in weddings, corporate events, private parties, baby showers and more. If it’s worth celebrating, we have the resources for it! I have been an event planner for 5 years.
How did you get started in weddings?
Jayde: I got my start in weddings in Nashville, TN, five years ago. That’s crazy to say! I started my event planning career at Andrew Jackson’s The Hermitage, then directed all events at Carnton down in Franklin, TN before working with the floral masters of Geny’s Florals. I am so lucky to have all of the connections of great vendors in the Franklin and Nashville, TN area!
What’s the philosophy behind Jayde J. Smith Events?
Jayde: My strategy is to get to know you, and then to take those unique qualities and bring them to life through your event.
What attracts couples to Jayde J. Smith Events?

What is the most innovative new product, service, style or other aspect of your industry that brides and grooms might appreciate?
Jayde: I am currently loving the “Boho” theme — Think pops of colors in your florals, chic rugs and teepees. I’m also a fan of a good midnight snack at a wedding! Who doesn’t love a good food truck?!
