Tell us about Ivy & Grace Decor and how long you’ve been in business.

Joy & Sarah: We are so grateful for the opportunity to share Ivy & Grace with you. We provide clients and guests with magical and memorable experiences. We help create beautiful spaces with handpicked and thoughtfully crafted decor to rent. We pride ourselves on taking a client’s vision and bringing it to life with decor that is special and unique to their occasion. Ivy & Grace launched in August of 2019 with our adorable mobile photo booth full of southern charm. Her name is Steel Magnolia, but those who love her call her “Maggie”. She brings fun to any party adding personalized photo strips for guests and an extra splash of decor. In the summer of 2020 Maggie got another face lift with the addition of a bar! She is double the fun with a photo booth in the front and bar in the back!

A little bit about us, (Sarah & Joy) the owners of Ivy & Grace. In 1994 we met at Aviano HS in Italy where our fathers where stationed. We were instant besties. Our husbands were room mates at Aviano Air Base as their first assignments in the Army, meant to be right?!? After their military service we all ended up in Murfreesboro, Tn where we both had our first borns. After careers have taken us to different states and countries, 25 yrs later our family’s bond has continued to grow. Sarah has a successful home decor company, “A Little Bit Of This” where she has proven to be extremely talented in design and style. She is an entrepreneur with confidence in her abilities. Joy was successful in Executive roles with Target for 18 years before she took a leap of faith to follow her heart. She brings the business savvy mindset. What started out as 2 women daydreaming over a campfire and wine has turned into a growing business where we can be apart of other people’s dreams coming true. We are beyond thankful for, and excited to share Ivy & Grace with you. Sarah Dubler and Joy Yancey

How did you get started in weddings?

Joy & Sarah: We have both always had a love for unique decor, vintage pieces, and doing for others and wanted to take those passions do something truly different. The thought of transforming an old rust bucket horse trailer into an elegant and charming photo booth was just the beginning.

What’s the philosophy behind Ivy & Grace?

Joy & Sarah: Our philosophy is to always remember that it is only by the grace of God that we are able to run the business of our dreams. It is our responsibility to use our gift not just for our success, but also to give back to our community, to do good with His gift.

What are your strengths compared to other vendors in your category?

Joy & Sarah: It is very important to us to not just do business, but build relationships. We love to spend time understanding a bride’s vision and doing everything we can to make her day as special as she has imagined. We add extra touches all along the way. The connection that we create with our brides goes well beyond the day of their wedding.

What attracts couples to your business?

Joy & Sarah: Maggie, the photo booth / bar, is always the show stopper. The couple that is attracted to our business is one that wants a ton of fun and laughter and lasting memories for their guests to take home with them.

What are some trends you’re seeing right now in your category of the wedding industry?

Joy & Sarah: 2020 brought several trends that we will continue to see throughout 2021, outdoor weddings being top of the list. Weekday weddings are something that we have been seeing more and more of with intimate settings and budget minded couples. Giving guests a sentimental piece to take home is always trendy and the customized photo strips that we are able to give (unlimited) to every guest is so special.

Is there anything else you’d like to share about Ivy & Grace Decor?

Joy & Sarah: We are overwhelmed by the support that the Middle TN wedding vendors give to one another. We love building relationships with our brides, but growing our connections with others in the industry is just as special to us.

Joy and Sarah are some of the bests in the business! Be sure to reach out to Ivy & Grace Decor if you’re in the market for some beautiful wedding decor.
