What’s New with Spark Vintage Rentals

Will you have a vintage-inspired or boho wedding in Nashville? If so, then fun and funky furniture is a must! The best person to call for Nashville vintage furniture rentals is Erin from Spark Vintage Rentals! Formerly known as Vintage Sparkle, Erin’s business and inventory has grown so much in the past year, that it was time for a lot of big changes. A new larger warehouse, lots of new inventory and a brand new name were all in order! So today, I’ll let Erin finish telling you all about the newness of Spark Vintage Rentals!

We love your new name and branding! What was the purpose behind your rebrand and name change?

Erin: Thank you! It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while now. To be honest, when I started this business back in 2014, I had no idea what it would evolve into. Back then, I was setting up at the monthly Nashville Flea market and had not put much thought into the name. As the years have passed, a fun side hustle has turned into something much bigger. This company is now my livelihood and I want it to be my life’s work. For that reason, the time felt right to better reflect the new season we’re in as a business. So, Spark Vintage Rentals is our new name. Still fun but serious about providing Nashville with the best dang vintage furniture rentals around.

What is new with Spark Vintage Rentals this year?

Erin: So much! New name, new warehouse, always getting in new {old} inventory.  We are really excited about helping couples put their unique personality and style into their wedding more than ever this year!

We hear your have a new warehouse! Tell us more – and where are you located?

Erin: Yes! We are right in the downtown area, a stones throw away from the Wedgewood Houston neighborhood, next door to the popular brewery, Tennessee Brew Works. Our building is very old- and it’s PINK!! We have 6,500 sq ft of space and about 65% is full of furniture, and the rest is open space we can use for consults, staging orders, and the occasional collaboration/workshop/photoshoot/party etc. Our address is 811 Vine st. Nashville, TN. 37203

Do you have any new rental items that you see being popular this year?

Erin: Rugs continue to be our most popular category and we are always finding and adding fabulous rugs to our collection. We also recently got some bright colorful folding chairs in that rent for a super accessible price. ($7.50/ea) I’m excited to promote those for bridal and baby showers, birthday parties, etc.

What trends are you seeing come alive in vintage weddings this year?

Erin: The rug aisle is going strong – I love when brides really go for this moment. When done properly, it makes a stunning impact. I always encourage brides to get the most bang for their buck by re-using the aisle rugs in their lounges at the reception! Along with the aisle, we’re seeing a lot of vintage rug Dance Floors!! We have some larger rugs that fit this bill perfectly and it really makes for an affordable WOW factor and some amazing first dance pictures. Lastly, I’m seeing lounge furniture in the ceremony – whether for all guests or just up front for family, this is another way to add personality to your ceremony and then move those pieces into vignettes for the reception.

What are you excited about most in 2019?

Erin: I’m so excited about our new space. We have room to grow our inventory and staff, room to really spread out and paint a picture for brides when they come in for consultations, and even room to host casual events such as workshops.

Erin! I am so excited for you! Congratulations! Spark Vintage Rentals is such an amazing place for Nashville vintage furniture rentals! You can check out more on Spark Vintage Rentals online. And also follow the latest over on Instagram!
