Bright, bold and colorful Indian weddings are so beautiful! I love learning about the culture and traditions behind these weddings and I'm so happy some of my vendor friends brought light to it in this styled shoot at Drakewood Farms! Photographer Amy of And How! Imaging along with makeup artist Katie-Laine Thornton created a cultural celebratory scene in the backdrop of a country barn – and it totally worked! The styles meshed terrifically as the colorful vintage china place settings blended with the pops of bright blooms from A Village of Flowers. Katie-Laine's talent stretches beyond traditional makeup – she also created the intricate mehndi designs on model Kaitlyn's hands! I'm so impressed with all of the thought and detail that went into this shoot – so I'll just leave you with the gorgeous photos to inspire your Wednesday!

From the photographer, Amy of And How! Imaging: We teamed up with several amazing wedding vendors to create this bridal inspiration shoot. We wanted to work together to create some images outside of the typical “southern/rustic” style demographic, and felt like Indian weddings and brides have been under represented here. We decided to include both modern and traditional elements, all while still being at one of Nashville's favorite outdoor wedding venues.
Thank you so much for sharing this styled bridal shoot with us, Amy + Katie-Laine! I love it when these two pair up – they make wedding magic! You can check out more of And How! Imaging's work here on their website and also be sure to check out Makeup by Katie-Laine Thornton here!
