Can you believe Thanksgiving is happening this week? I’m over here gearing up for some turkey and family time… and I’m also excited to share this Thanksgiving wedding tablescape shoot with you today!
Annie of Elizabeth Events here in Nashville designed a rustic tablescape with simple yet beautiful details. Her goal was to show us that you can create a beautiful tablescape with the items you have at home (and a few added elements from local vendors like White Ink Calligraphy)! So without further ado, I’ll show you the homey and rustic photos from Blacc Velvett and you’ll hear straight from the planner, Annie!
From the planner and designer, Annie of Elizabeth Events: The goal of this shoot was to display a few different tablescapes to serve as inspiration on creating the perfect tablescape for a Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving dinner. This is an important time of the year to gather around the table and cherish family and friends. Claire, from White Ink Calligraphy, designed a simple yet elegant kraft paper table runner. This is beautiful as a stand-alone table runner, but it can also be dressed up with some garland, flowers, or pumpkins down the middle. Amanda, from Blacc Velvett Media, captured several different shots of the different tablescape designs. Annie, from Elizabeth Events, styled all the stoneware, stemware, and silverware that she got from Target. She chose to do this to display that anyone can create a beautiful table setting from the dishes they have at home. Creating something beautiful does not have to mean expensive! You can take the dishes you have in your kitchen and dress up a table with creative place cards, a pop of color from your plates, or some pumpkins because who does not love pumpkins? The design possibilities are endless.
