Her products will put a smile on your face with fun sayings like “Brunch So Hard”, “She Doesn’t Even Go Here”, and some of my favorite Bachelor sayings like “Here for the Wrong Reasons”. Plus, Emily can customize crowns with your wedding hashtag, nicknames, and more! The options are really endless. I’ll let Emily take it from here and finish telling you all about The Happy Ginger Co.!

Tell us about The Happy Ginger Co. + how long you’ve been in business!

Emily: The Happy Ginger Co. makes happy things for a colorful life! I create modern and clever party goods for fun-loving folks. My priority has been to embrace all things glittery and “extra” from the very beginning. The Happy Ginger Co. started a little over a year ago. The only items in the original product line were party crowns, handmade fascinators that featured glittery on-theme sayings, for a number of party themes. These were a hit! And now, a year later, The Happy Ginger Co. offers party crowns plus everything you could need for a completely original party! The online shop is full of sassy crowns, banners, prints, and t-shirts.

How did you get started in weddings?

Emily: After only a few months of selling party crowns, I got the best message: supermodel and designer Harley Viera-Newton asked if I could create custom party crowns for her wedding! The only answer was yes. The party crowns I made for her wedding (which read ROSS & DOBBS- the couple’s nickname) were then featured among her wedding photos in BRIDES Magazine this Spring! Since then, there’s been several artists and trendsetter’s who’ve asked for custom crowns for their weddings, events, and launch parties. I love working with them on their designs and hearing the sweet and sometimes hilarious stories behind the sayings they want on their party crowns! Even better is when they reach out after the party to send me photos and let me know how much their guests loved the crowns! Getting to contribute to a wedding is always the best feeling!

What’s the philosophy behind The Happy Ginger Co.?

Emily: The Happy Ginger Co. is devoted to happy-living and creative partying.  We’re cheeky, a little mischievous, and always planning our next themed party. Our products are the sparkly silver-lining to your day and the event accessories that all of your friends will talk about. We’re here for the gal and guy who love to be the life of the party.

What are some trends you’re seeing in weddings as of late?

Emily: The Happy Ginger Co.‘s Party Crowns are the perfect addition to a trend-setting wedding. Custom-designed to featured your names, your hashtag, or your new monogram, they add to the personalization of your big day. We offer multiple color options, so they’ll even match your decor! Plus, party crowns make the best favors because your guests get to enjoy them that evening. They get to show their support for you by donning their party crown and getting down on the dance floor!

Is there anything else you’d like to share about The Happy Ginger Co.?

Emily: The Happy Ginger Co. is proud to be a Nashville-based, woman-owned small business. Our party crowns have been included in events all over the US and featured in multiple magazines and blogs, but I get the most excited when I get to make something for someone local. I love making people’s events original and imaginative!
