From Hootenanni: Meggan’s bachelorette party couldn’t have been a more perfect weekend in Nashville. In the months leading up to the party, Meggan and her sister/MOH, Gretchen, teamed up with Hootenanni to plan out their full itinerary. The girls wanted to experience Broadway, of course, but they also knew they wanted to see more than just the honky tonks. We settled on doing a pontoon boat tour, dinner at the trendy Pinewood Social, exploring the quaint 12 South neighborhood, and a wine tasting at Arrington Vineyards.

The girls arrived super excited for their weekend in Music City. We greeted them at their hotel, the Renaissance Nashville, to drop off party gift bags complete with a photobooth kit, chocolates handmade in Nashville, Hootenanni matching shirts, lavender soaps, and more. The girls were hungry after their morning flights, so we suggested walking down to Puckett’s for brunch before their pontoon boat reservation.

Unfortunately, the weather didn’t agree with us, and a torrential downpour ensued right when they were set to be on the boat that afternoon. Team Hoot quickly implemented Plan B: send the party to the Escape Game until the rain died down, and then book a backup sunset pontoon boat instead. The weather ended up being LOVELY that night at sunset, and we had a blast driving the boat around from cliff to cliff while the crew jumped and swam (the bachelorette herself was not so brave – she waited out the cliff jumping from the boat, fully prepared to Instagram Story her friends). After the pontoon boat, the girls headed back to their hotel to get ready for an evening of delicious appetizers and drinks at Pinewood Social.

From Hootenanni: The next morning, everyone awoke bright and early for a photoshoot downtown with Hoot team member and head photographer Leah. We met up on the Pedestrian Bridge and took adorable photos of the whole crew with the Nashville skyline as our backdrop. We even had some fun props courtesy of the Hootenanni gift bags. The party guests then headed over to 12 South for a quick shopping trip. In the meantime, Team Hoot ran home to print off pictures from the photoshoot to frame and surprise the girls later on.

We met back up at Arrington Vineyards that afternoon, where we stealthily snuck into the limo to place all the framed photos for when they got back in after their tasting. We enjoyed an afternoon with PERFECT weather, fine wines, and a few snacks that the MOH brought along. We grabbed some photos in the vines and then offered a few suggestions on what to order at dinner that night at The Diner downtown.

At that point, we all felt like we had been friends forever, and Meggan and her girlfriends invited Team Hoot not only to come to dinner that night, but also TO HER WEDDING. We were extremely flattered and it honestly was the best compliment of the weekend! We indeed joined them for dinner and then hit up a few honky tonks on Broadway with them afterwards. It was awesome to be there with them and be able to show them our favorite places in Nashville. We recommend our favorites during the planning process, of course, but we loved getting to see their excitement as they experienced it all firsthand. After a few stops (at Paradise Park, Tootsie's, and Honky Tonk Central… the classics), Team Hoot headed home and left the girls to their own devices – still just a text or phone call away should they have any questions or needed suggestions on where to go next. They also had chosen our proprietary Broadway Bar Crawl Bingo game as a free bonus experience – a bingo card scavenger hunt that sends guests to the best rooftops, most interesting establishments, classic favorites, and those with the best drink special – so we knew they'd have lots of fun on their own!

The next morning, Meggan and her friends sadly had to pack up and head home, but not without wonderful memories, new framed photos from the photoshoot, country songs stuck in their heads, and full hearts. It was a weekend to remember for sure and Nashville can’t wait to (hopefully) welcome them back one day!

Thanks so much for sharing all about Meggan’s bachelorette party with us, Hootenanny! I love everything you planned for her! You can check out more of Hootenanni’s services here on their website and see the latest over on Instagram!
