Arrington Vineyards Wedding Styled Shoot | 4th of July

I’m sure you’ve already had a great weekend of celebration for our country, but today I’m sharing even more red white and blue inspiration! When Leah of Elle Event Style and I met last week, she showed me photos of her recent Arrington Vineyards wedding styled shoot with Erin Allender Photography and some amazing vendors and I knew it would be the perfect fit for the 4th! Usually the 4th of July calls for paper plates and backyard barbecues, but Leah decided to dress it up and create a beautiful 4th of July table scape. From alternating striped and solid placemats to custom made macaroons from Baked in Nashville, Leah created a casual yet classy way to do 4th of July in perfect Elle Event Style! Check out the cute and unique look at what an Arrington Vineyards wedding would look like and see what Leah has to say about the rainy shoot day!

Tell us about the shoot vision!

Leah: I love hosting my family and friends for holiday parties! For all of my parties I always make sure that I set it up just as I would for any event that I design so that my family and friends feel just as loved. When I think of 4th of July I think of red, white, blue, paper plates and sparklers. At my house, 4th of July is all about being outside and grilling out.

What details were used to create the theme?

Leah: Would you believe that these aren’t paper plates?! They are melamine plates to look like the classic paper plate. These are a great sturdy option over paper plates and they can be washed a reused. I love creating a fabulous beverage for my guests to enjoy. For the 4th I made a blueberry infused water and a strawberry white wine sangria that play off of the red, white, and blue color scheme. And if your going to drink a delicious beverage, you might as well drink it out of a fabulous American flag straw. You also can’t let your guests go without something sweet. These custom 4th of July macaroons are the perfect treat for guests of all ages.

Were there any special requests or unique challenges that you had to work together to overcome?

Leah: On the day of the style shoot, it poured outside. However, if it rains on the 4th I am still going to have my family and friends over to enjoy the celebration — so don’t throw your amazing decorations and party design away, get creative and bring it inside.

Thank you so much for sharing this fun Arrington Vineyards wedding styled shoot with us, Leah! You can check out more of Elle Event Style’s work here on her website and also here on Instagram! Happy 4th!
