We recently got to chat with Sarah Willard, owner of Music City Events, and Deb herself to learn more about the value this new planner will bring to the Nashville wedding scene. One thing is for sure: Deb brings a level of organization (thanks, Type A personality!) to every wedding that allows the bride to relax and focus on her day. Keep reading to find out more!
What’s great about Deb, Sarah says, is her ability to flawlessly execute the details of the wedding planning process, from concept to the day of. She’s meticulous, able to make quick decisions and has a great eye for aesthetics and the small details that personalize the day. Not to mention, she’s young, vibrant and brings a fresh perspective to Nashville weddings, specializing in all things modern, colorful, creative! Some of her favorite wedding elements include the use of sunflowers in modern weddings (not just for country chic!) and lounge seating that allows for mingling and great conversation.

The best part of her job, Deb says, is helping brides achieve their dream weddings while easing their stress levels. She’s got the planning process down to a science — “It’s like clockwork!”, she says — which allows her to bring a calm, zen-like presence to each and every wedding she coordinates. This attitude is what attracts brides to her from all over the city, and honestly, who wouldn’t want such a calming force on their wedding day? And speaking of brides, we asked her what her ideal “bride type” was. Though she enjoys working with all brides, she particularly enjoys working alongside those bride-to-bes who know what they want, but just don’t know what their next steps should be. Those brides are the ones she feels could really benefit from a planner to help make their special day a success.
