Meet Vintage Sparkle: Specializing In Vintage Furniture + Props For Nashville Weddings | Wedding Resources

Happy Tuesday! Today I am SO extremely excited to share all about Erin Sparks and her business Vintage Sparkle with you today! What is Vintage Sparkle? It's a vintage furniture and prop rental company in Nashville, TN specializing in boho weddings. And boy, you know how much I love a boho wedding! I was first introduced to Erin at Nashville's Big Fake Wedding at The Cordelle this past spring and absolutely loved the items she showcased in the ceremony! (Macramè backdrop, anyone?). And when I attended the Bloguettes workshop in May, her beautiful rentals made an appearance once again! I just had to have a photo op in one of the gorgeous woven chairs like these ^. I also have a special styled shoot feature coming up that I designed showcasing more of her amazing curated collection! Adding to my love for Vintage Sparkle, she was just featured on one of my favorite sites, Domino Mag, last week (swoon!). From woven rugs to candelabras to blush vintage sofas, Vintage Sparkle is sure to give your boho wedding the extra detail it needs to wow your guests! Keep reading to learn more about Erin's business…

Tell us about your company + how long you've been in business.

Erin: Vintage Sparkle has been in business for 3 years. We started out selling vintage furniture and home decor at the Nashville Flea Market. Just over 2 years ago, we branched into rentals. We love helping people bring style and character to their events!

How did you get started in weddings?

Erin: Our inventory is loaded with unique and interesting vintage finds so originally, we thought the bulk of our rental business would be for the entertainment industry. Turns out, Nashville brides have amazing taste and want to express their individuality on their wedding day. We couldn't be happier – it's such an honor to be a part of such an important, memorable celebration!

What are your strengths compared to other rental companies?

Erin: At this point, we are a small business. We see this as a strength because our level of passion and concern for each event is super high. We don't do a ton of weddings, most weekends we only take on one, so each couple gets the attention they deserve. Our inventory is constantly growing and changing. Because we do vintage rentals, we keep things exciting with more consistent additions. We also sell our inventory regularly. It's important to us to be able to offer brides something truly unique- because just like it's a bummer to walk into your friends house and see that they have the same furniture, the same goes for your wedding decor.

What attracts couples to your business?

Erin: Couples who have great style and want their day to look and feel like a reflection of them are drawn to our brand. We tend to attract bohemian brides who are very unconventional in their approach. They want their wedding to have that collected look, but on a professional, magazine-worthy level.

What is the most innovative new product, service, style or other aspect of your industry that brides and grooms might appreciate?

Erin: We have tons of vintage rugs. It's hard to find a good source for renting amazing rugs and buying them, for most brides, is out of the question due to their value. We love putting together rug aisles for that most important walk!

Is there anything else you'd like to share about your company?

Erin: We offer complimentary styling of our our inventory with your order.
