How did you get started in weddings?
Emily: As a cosmetologist, offering weddings as a service is almost a must. I have always had a strong desire to be a part of a bride’s special day. I started out doing weddings locally and now I will travel to just about any destination.
What’s the philosophy behind The Webb Method?
Emily: It is my mission as an independent stylist, to be very clear with my purpose and reasoning behind why I do what I do and why I do it the way that I do. I have a big heart for my career and treat it like it’s more than just a job. My work is fun and I give it my all. I work hard to provide clients with the look they wish for. I am professional and strive to give high quality work. I want to fulfill my clients’ specifications to complete their delight. I listen to each bride and give them all the attention they deserve on their wedding day. I perform in a happy, loving way to make my finished product beautiful.
What are your strengths compared to other wedding hair and makeup artists?
Emily: I believe I am excellent with time management. Having timing down is so important when you have a set schedule or timeline to stay by. I am good with multitasking and can work quickly. I will work extremely hard and stay overtime with the bride to make sure she is pleased before she walks down the aisle.
What attracts couples to The Webb Method?
Emily: I am youthful and willing to try new styles. I’ll never say no to trying a style out. I make the day exciting and will laugh and make it a pleasant environment. I stay up to date with the trends as well and can help tell you what I think works best or what may look best with your dress or hair. I will also listen to the bride and work at making her and her gals happy and provide them with the look they seek.
Is there anything else you’d like to share about The Webb Method?
Emily: I am enthusiastic about my work and love what I do. I can also give the bride’s look a twist to give the style something extra. I recommend doing at least one trial run where we can play around with styles you may want on that day. I offer to stay as long as needed, so If you want me to stay all the way until the reception and through pictures, I will. I can tweak and freshen up the entire day if needed. I can also do hair and makeup for photoshoots with the couple, engagement shoots and more.
