Randi: With completing my undergraduate degree in Organizational Communication focusing on Event Planning in 2013, Jet Set Planning came to life on graduation day! Jet Set Planning got its name from my love of travel and my husband’s pilot profession with Southwest. I then furthered my education my obtaining my Master’s Degree in 2015 in Strategic Leadership focusing on Event Planning. I wanted to further my education to better serve my clients. I believe specializing in this field of study has helped me in my career. I am a firm believer of staying up to date on the latest trends and always staying local. With my organizational and strategical skills, I keep my clients all up to date by staying paperless and with online tools to allow them to be a part of the planning process from just a click away. My passion is helping you have a simplified life, organization for your special day and to help you focus on what matters the most, which is each other. I strive to make sure everything represents you and your loved ones. I want to showcase your creativity, culture and personal style.

Randi: My love for wedding planning began in 1998 after watching The Parent Trap with my mother. My favorite scene is where Elizabeth James takes her daughter on a photoshoot for her new collection of wedding gowns. Seeing the model’s face as she twirled in the dress made me realize I loved everything that had to do with a wedding.  I knew from that moment I wanted to be the person to work behind the scenes, and to make every bride smile on their wedding day. With growing up in the bridal industry and working at my mother’s bridal salon, I grew my passion to helping couple’s plan their wedding day. From “Southern Styling” and helping brides chose their wedding party color palettes, the dress to the tuxedos, I knew I wanted to expand into the entire wedding planning process.

Randi: The philosophy behind Jet Set Planning is for you to enjoy and make memories, and to enjoy the engagement. Let’s face it, you only get one day out of the entire year to celebrate you and your loved one. It is my goal for you to make the most of your day by enjoying it and leaving all the details to me and my team. It should not be your job to worry about the seating chart because Grandma Sue cannot sit beside Cousin Judy because they do not get along. When you look back on your wedding photos 30 years from now, it is my job for you to remember the wonderful day and the memories you made, not all the tiny details.

Randi: The number one thing that sets Jet Set Planning apart from other planners is that I “Power Plan”. Power Planning is where I devote two weeks to you and your fiancé and help you choose the best vendors that fit within your budget. After having several clients plan their weddings so far in advance, I noticed the best vendors were booking quickly. From vision boards, budget planning and vendor meetings I make sure I Power Plan and get you and your fiancé the best vendor that blends with your wedding theme and price point. After the two weeks are over, I stay in touch with weekly emails, unlimited phone calls and twice month coffee dates to make sure we are staying on target.

Randi: Jet Set Planning is focused on the modern and busy bride, Jet Set Planning will ensure your wedding is under control, so you can go about your busy day. We start with your love story and then transform your wedding into an event that perfectly suits you and your loved one. From full service to month of coordinating, you and your fiancé  will be confident that your entire event is completely covered.

Randi: One of the current trends that I am loving is that couples are registering for a cause instead of wanting to receive gifts. My favorite charity I love to donate money to is The American Heart Association, because my father had open-heart surgery in 2015. I believe that this is a wonderful way to connect your guests to your heart and have them donate and support something that you both are passionate about instead of receiving material things.

Randi! Thank you so much for sharing all about Jet Set Planning and your unique process with us! You can check out Randi’s portfolio here and also be sure to follow Jet Set Planning on Instagram!
