I reached out to John of John Myers Photographer to learn more about the vision for the shoot – how did they approach it, why was it selected? Here’s what I learned:
“We went for a modern look for the dress and tux and showcased the latest trend for each that wasn’t going to date the images. Our team felt that Alex Ferguson, the bride, and Lance Garrison, the groom, had very good chemistry together so we wanted to showcase them and their on-camera attraction.
Actually our goal was timeless. Even though the style was latest fashion and looks, we went with a very classic look so that the images were dated within a few years. The McConnell House was amazing and provided us lots of locations throughout the venue that added to the overall style with the brick walls, hardwood floors and classic fixtures.”
