Tell us about the shoot vision.

Paige: For the most part, I would say that my brand is very glitzy and glamorous, but there is this a part of me that is obsessed with nature and natural elements. Huge bodies of water are insanely beautiful to me! I look forward to date nights at the lake with my husband. I also look forward to white water rafting and kayaking early Sunday mornings. I wanted to take different parts of my personality and blend them all together, which is how this “Lakeside I do” shoot was birthed.

What was the theme and what inspired it?

Paige: Fantasy with an eclectic blend.

What details were used to create the theme?

Paige: We used hues of blues and pink because they reminded me of the sunset, which is my favorite part of the day. I wanted to step outside of my comfort zone and use design elements that were less glamorous and more natural. Crystals will always be a part of me, so I found a less glitzy way to incorporate them. I spray painted tomato cages and hand dyed greenery to give off the gold and black hues. The sweetheart table centerpiece was a spray painted hula hoop! This was definitely the most creative I have ever gotten, and I had so much fun seeing the vision come to life.

Were there any special requests or unique challenges that you had to work together to overcome (ie rain, etc)?

Paige: We were on set for about 9 hours. It was 101 degree weather that day and it stormed the first 40 minutes of the shoot. We bought 35 bottles of water and went through them all. A ton of our glassware broke due to heavy winds, and we had to come up with new designs within a 15 minute time span. Two of my team members almost passed out from heat exhaustion and were unable to help with set up for a huge chunk of the day. We also had blisters on our feet by the end of the night. This was definitely one of the most challenging things we have ever done, but I'm very happy with how it turned out!

Wow – we are speechless! Thank you so much for sharing this styled shoot with us, Paige! We know a lot of hard work went into this shoot and there were a lot of obstacles to overcome, but the photos are absolutely stunning!
