Jessica + Matt's engagement session is full of modern romance in a historical setting. They chose Rippavilla Plantation here in Tennessee as the backdrop of their session with K Schulz Photography. And this sunroom is giving me all the summer vibes! From the beautiful white pillars outside the mansion to the property and farmhouse, Jessica + Matt were able to utilize all of the property to capture their love story. From the photographer K Schulz: Jessica and Matt are from South Carolina. Matt has family in Middle Tennessee. They are having their wedding in TN and wanted their engagement pictures to be here as well. Matt is a history buff and wanted their engagement pictures to take place somewhere that had history. They chose Rippavilla Plantation for their location. Rippavilla was more than accommodating, even showing us great places, telling us fun stories as we entered the plantation and staying after hours so we could shoot with no one around. Their tour guides were funny and friendly. We took about 30 minutes inside the historic plantation before going outside for more pictures. Matt and Jessica are both becoming teachers in South Carolina. They are currently student teaching while planning their wedding (very busy indeed). It was a gorgeous warm, sunny day in March and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful engagement session.
